When ejIMPACT met with the United Way of Essex & West Hudson to discuss their Fundraising Certificate Program, created & originally implemented by ejIMPACT at Middlesex County College, it was a no-brainer. The Director of Community Partners loved the idea and so did his Director.

So, in the months of September & October, ejIMPACT held the following courses for 16 United Way partnering organizations: Essentials of Fundraising Management; Board Development & Management; The Annual Campaign & Major Gifts; Special Events; Corporate & Foundation Gifts & Grants.

The results for ejIMPACT were requests from 5 of the agencies to meet with their boards to discuss a possible partnership for a board training, capital campaign and special event.

The Director of Community Partners of the United Way of Essex & West Hudson, in his thank you note to ejIMPACT, said: “Thank you for making the Resource Development Certificate Program such a rich learning experience for the participants.”
